Who we are !

Inskip Baptist Church is a rural church on the edge of the village of Inskip and is made up of ordinary people. We come from different backgrounds and from right across Lancashire and beyond! Our congregation is made up of families with teenagers, young children and babies, retired people and singles.

Many people think of Church as a building, however, the Bible’s description of the Church is very different. The Bible describes the Church as those who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We love the Lord Jesus Christ and our desire is to share Him with others. All that we do centres on Him and declaring the good news of forgiveness and peace in Christ. Everything that we believe and do is rooted in God’s word, the Bible. Each week around 80 Christians meet together in the building to praise and worship God and to learn more from His word. We desire to worship Him at every opportunity and to serve Him to the best of our ability in various ways. Some of the ways we serve Him are listed in our “What’s on” page and “Events” page.

We want everyone to know this good news for themselves and we invite everyone to come and join us and hear God’s word, there are no exclusions, all are welcome.

For us, there is nothing more important than knowing the forgiveness and peace that only Jesus Christ can give, which brings us into a right relationship with God.
